For years, I quit posting here in favor of social media. I had retired from journalism. But that was almost four years ago. Social media was different then. It was better than today. Now, I’ve really slowed my posting on social media. I’m still retired, but I’m reviving this website, and I’m starting to post here again.
All those folks, by the thousands I should note, who created a subscriber account here have been deleted. Too many were fake accounts created for I have no idea why, but probably for nothing good. At any rate, they’re gone. I’m still getting daily new subscribers, but anyone who looks suspicious is getting deleted. This is no longer a zombie site, and I won’t allow it to be abused.
I’ll have a new subscription mechanism in place in the near future, and that will solve the fake account scenario, but like I said, all those old accounts are gone now and new ones are being proactively removed as quickly as they are discovered.
In other news, I’m still waiting on a payment processor before I make the store visible, but it’s here, and it’s just waiting to be seen. 😃👍
